thestory.run
A writing coach from Swat.io that helps employees write their own LinkedIn posts through guided questions rather than generating them, with team campaigns and a shared calendar. Free for up to five people.
About this launch
thestory.run is a web application from Swat.io GmbH of Vienna, an established social-media software company, that coaches employees to write their own LinkedIn posts; it appeared on Product Hunt’s leaderboard on 22 September 2026 and is marked Beta. The design choice is the point: it does not write the post. In a coaching session it asks questions to find the story in a rough idea, suggests a structure, marks the lines worth keeping and proposes edits the writer can undo. Weekly planning shows each person’s posting pace, administrators can set campaign themes that the coach works into sessions, and a team calendar shows who is posting what without exposing private drafts. An optional, capped mode lets the coach draft a post, labelled as such. It is free for teams of five people or fewer; from the sixth person it costs one euro per coaching session plus tax, per its own page. The vendor publishes a data processing agreement. It is aimed at companies running employee-voice programmes that want the posts to stay recognisably their employees’ own.
