Rethink Solutions has been the leading developer of property tax & assessment management software since 1997. After seeing firsthand how organizations struggle to manage, store and analyze their property tax data, we decided to build a solution. What began as an internal tool to help property tax consultants more effectively serve their clients, we developed software, itamlink, that could easily manipulate property tax data to provide high-level management reports.

In response to client requests for direct access to the platform, we developed and released itamlink as a web-based software application in 2001. The platform continued to evolve as an enterprise application as real estate and property tax managers sought to gain more control of and visibility into their real estate data. Working with our clients, we identified significant opportunities to streamline and improve the efficiency of their operations and modernize their current processes through the development of itamlink.

Adopting a SaaS-based approach allowed us to deploy itamlink quickly, enabling customers to be implemented and functional in a reasonable amount of time and avoid months-long implementation schedules. It is the first fully web-based (SaaS) software application of its kind that allows property tax owners, managers, and occupiers to take ownership of their property tax processes, run reports and have live access to the full scope of their property tax data. Today, we continue to develop in a fast and agile manner, continuously improving and striving to deliver new or improved features and capabilities to our user base.
