Allegro is one of the largest trading companies in Poland and Europe based on modern technologies. Allegro has been facilitating online shopping for Poles since 1999, offering them the best prices, convenience and complete transaction security.

Allegro was established in 1999 in Poznań, and today also has offices in Warsaw, Toruń, Wrocław, and Kraków. Initially, the company formed by several people was located in the basement of a computer warehouse, and the first version of the site was on one diskette.

These were the times when the e-commerce market in Poland was just crawling and Allegro played one of the main roles in its development. Since then, over a dozen years, the company has undergone a huge metamorphosis: from the auction site for hobbyists, it has become the most popular place for online shopping. Today, Allegro employs 1.6 thousand people, of which more than half are top-class specialists in the field of technology.
