**A letter from the leaders

Lixar was started over a coffee conversation 20 years ago. The company's name was born while sitting at the family dining room table in Canada. Lixar is from the word Elixir which means 'a solution for all things'.

Lixar was created to build technology that made a difference. It has been a journey from web development and back-end system integration in the early days, to mobile and application development for enterprise, IoT and Cloud, and, AI and Data today.

We love technology because it is always evolving. We embrace change because there is always something new to learn, and ways to grow. We've always made it a priority to work with purpose. To create an environment that is creative and innovative. To connect with our community by supporting those that might need a helping hand such as the Boys and Girls Club and soon to be announced, the Kid's Help Phone.
