Coriolis TradeTech is the operating name of Coriolis Technologies Ltd. Coriolis TradeTech supplies trade, trade finance and risk data to its clients in banks, trade credit insurance, corporates, policy, and academia. Its unique Data as a Service business model is based on machine learning and AI. This approach brings in data from macroeconomic, company, customs and excise sources and combines it with data from logistics companies, ports, and shipping companies. It cleans and standardizes the data to provide real-time, accurate trade and trade finance flows and indices on an easy to use interface.

Coriolis uses machine learning and AI techniques to clean and standardize trade flow data. This means that even on currently publicly available data we provide data for trade flows that are not visible elsewhere, including arms trade, dual-use goods trade, and trade in Africa and the Middle East. Our approach eliminates the unreliability of country-level reporting. We are integrating company data, customs, and excise data and logistics data, and using the same techniques to standardize those flows thereby providing a uniquely complete and timely data service. Coriolis provides a tailored user-friendly platform through REST APIs where users can access not only a vast amount of data, but also analytical capabilities, such as forecasts, and credit and political risk analysis that is unique to the individual user.
