Whereby

Whereby is a European-owned video calling company from Norway with a privacy-first approach. It began in 2013 as appear.in, an intern project inside the telecom group Telenor, was spun out under Videonor in 2017, renamed in 2019, and since 2023 has put most of its effort into video that developers embed in their own products. Its team works fully remotely.
