WeVideo

WeVideo is a US company offering a browser-based platform for making, editing, hosting and sharing video, with GIF and podcast creation in the same toolset. What sets it apart from a plain editor is the ability to add interactive questions to videos and measure how viewers respond, which is why its main customers are schools, universities and training teams.

What WeVideo offers

• Online editor — editing for video, GIFs and podcasts, where several people can work on a project at once and review each other's work.
• Interactive video — quizzes, polls, discussion prompts and gap-fill questions placed inside a video.
• Analytics — performance and assessment data for teachers and trainers.
• Hosting and admin — storage, sharing and management of finished work, with ready-made projects and admin controls.
• AI Assist — AI features inside the editor.
• Integrations — Google Classroom, Canvas and Blackboard.

Who it works with

K-12 schools, higher education, corporate training departments and independent content creators. Named customers include Virginia Beach Public Schools, Cypress Fairbanks ISD and Florida International University.
