Transfinder

Transfinder makes student transportation software for school districts and bus operators across North America. Its tools cover routing, fleet upkeep, trip planning and communication with parents and staff, and the firm frames them as a response to driver shortages and underused buses in school transport.

What Transfinder offers

• School bus routing — planning and managing routes and the student data behind them.
• Parent app — an app for families to find where the bus is.
• Field trip management — organising and scheduling school trips.
• Fleet and asset management — Servicefinder handles preventative maintenance and repairs, used by the City of Schenectady.
• Operational data — reporting for overseeing the whole operation at any time.
• Staff communication and safety tools — fast information sharing with employees, a photo and video sharing app for school communities, and predictive analysis for community safety.

Who it works with

Transfinder serves school districts and transport departments; its site names the School District of Philadelphia and schools in Michigan and Texas as users. It also runs webinars and a Champfinder rewards app for transport staff.
