timeSSD

timeSSD is a cloud system of standard time data for labour-intensive manufacturing, especially sewing and garment production. It works out standard minutes for each sewing operation and the labour cost that follows, and it follows on from SSD, which the company calls the first computerised time and cost benchmark for the sewing trade.

What timeSSD offers

• Bill of Labour — standard labour times for garments built from an element database developed with MTM-2, charged only for the elements used.
• Labour costing — documented methods turned into an accurate SAM and cost per unit.
• Production planning — capacity and layout planning, line balancing and efficiency control.
• Method sharing — operation lists shared between brands and manufacturers, with EDI links to third-party software.
• Consulting and training — work method engineering on site or remotely, plus practitioner training, webinars and certification exams.

Who it works with

The system serves apparel brands and manufacturers alike. Its listed users include Solotex Egypt, Dr. Bock Industries and universities such as Kaunas University of Technology.
