TeamViewer

TeamViewer is a software company based in Göppingen, Germany, where, by its own account, it started in 2005. It makes software for reaching and supporting computers and devices remotely. Its website is run by TeamViewer Germany GmbH, and the listed parent, TeamViewer SE, has the same address at Bahnhofsplatz 2. The company says it has more than 620,000 customers.

Its products cover three levels. TeamViewer Remote is remote access and IT support for individuals, small businesses and teams. TeamViewer Tensor is an enterprise connectivity platform for IT endpoints, mobile devices, point-of-sale systems and operational technology, sold on custom licences. TeamViewer ONE combines remote support with digital-employee-experience monitoring, asset and patch management and AI features in one platform.

On its trust-centre pages, TeamViewer lists ISO/IEC 27001 certification, SOC 2 and SOC 3 audits, and a TISAX label. It offers phone support in 33 languages, and a 30% discount for non-profit and education customers.
