Studio, Inc. (Studio株式会社) is a Tokyo software company that makes Studio, a no-code platform for designing and running websites. It presents the product as a web design tool for creative teams in which a whole site, from layout to publishing, can be built without programming. Founded in April 2016, the company also has a US subsidiary, STUDIO Technologies, Inc., in California.

What the platform does

Studio combines a visual design editor, in which pages are laid out freely without code, with a built-in content management system for structured content and tools for forms, search engine settings, backups, permissions and security. Sites are published on Studio's own hosting with SSL included, so teams do not run servers, and several projects can be managed from one workspace. Add-ons include Figma to Studio, which turns Figma designs into live pages, Lottie animation support, accessibility features and Studio.Assistant, an AI feature meant to reduce the workload of running a site. Around the product the company runs a template store, a directory of certified freelancers called Studio Experts, video lessons, workshops and a user community.

Who it serves

Marketers, designers, in-house web teams and agencies that build corporate, recruitment, service and campaign sites and want to update them without waiting for developers. Its customer stories come from large Japanese companies and start-ups as well as lodging, entertainment, local government, restaurant and retail sites, and it offers a migration path for teams leaving WordPress. The company says more than 30,000 companies use the service. It joined the W3C in December 2025.
