Rotunda Software

Rotunda Software is a small, bootstrapped company that makes software for organising volunteers. It grew out of a hobby project in Buenos Aires, describes itself as profitable and self-funded, and now works as a fully remote team. Rotunda says its tools have scheduled more than one million volunteers.

• Unison — volunteer management for churches, schools and nonprofits, which organisations can use to coordinate their own volunteers at no charge.
• Ministry Scheduler Pro — a scheduling tool churches use to plan rotas and fill roles across their ministries.
• Browser-based architecture — a shared in-house design that runs much of each application's logic in the browser to keep heavy tasks quick.
• Hosting and security — Amazon Web Services hosting, TLS encryption in transit, penetration testing and regular external vulnerability scans.
• Card payments — processed through Authorize.net under PCI-DSS aligned practices, with no full card numbers stored.
