Raynet is a German software company, based in Paderborn, that helps organisations find out what hardware and software they run and manage it from there. Its main platform, Raynet One, brings IT management, software asset management and cybersecurity functions together around one inventory of the estate. The company says it has served customers for more than 25 years, and a German trade outlet dates its founding to 1999.
Raynet One discovers devices and installed software across an organisation, matches what it finds against Raynet's technology catalogue, and uses the result for licence management, IT operations and security work. Around it Raynet sells a data hub for feeding that inventory into other systems, unified endpoint management, and a set of tools for packaging and distributing software: RayPack Studio, RayFlow, the Package Store and RaySAMi. In October 2026 the company said it would add more AI features and more cybersecurity functions to Raynet One.
Raynet sells to large organisations with complex IT estates. The customers it names are Metro AG, where it provides IT visibility across more than 30 group companies, and Türk Telekom, which Raynet says reported a fifteen-fold return on investment. It works with partners including USU, Bechtle, Deloitte and Matrix42, and cites recognition from Gartner and Forrester. It presents its product as a way for European companies to gain transparency and independence over the software they depend on.
