Rapid Software

Rapid Software is the company behind Rapid SCADA, an open-source platform for putting together monitoring and control systems in industry. Out of the box it gives engineers the tools to set up a SCADA system quickly, and on larger projects it serves as the base for custom SCADA and MES software built for a particular customer. The listing places the firm in the Russian Federation.

What Rapid Software offers

• Rapid SCADA Community — the open-source edition, with no cap on data points and no expiry date.
• Commercial editions — Standard, Enterprise and Embedded versions that bundle extra modules written by the company.
• Optional add-on modules — extra software modules that extend the basic features.
• Custom development — bespoke automation systems built on the platform.
• Technical support and consulting — help for users and integrators running Rapid SCADA.

Who it works with

The platform targets industrial automation and IIoT projects, including large distributed systems. It runs on servers, embedded computers and in the cloud, and its nodes share data with each other and with outside databases in real time. End users, system integrators and developers all work with it, and integrators may add their own branding and hardware. A community of engineers writes new modules and helps newcomers.
