Quizizz

Quizizz, which now operates under the Wayground name, gives teachers one place to create and deliver assessments, slide lessons, video activities, flashcards and homework. AI can draft a full activity from a topic, a document, a curriculum standard or an uploaded file, and teachers can track how each student is progressing.

What Quizizz offers

• Assessments: tests that can be played as a competitive game or set as a formal exam, with lockdown mode, tab-switching alerts and integrity reports.
• Common assessments: results from a shared test compared across teachers, schools and standards.
• Interactive presentations: slides with built-in quick checks and live translation for multilingual pupils.
• Video lessons: questions added to any video, with AI suggesting where to pause.
• Homework and flashcards: auto-graded homework that can be reused as a review game, flashcard set or exit ticket.
• Accessibility tools: levelled text, a dyslexia-friendly font, text-to-speech and a focus mode.
