Pastel

Pastel, from Pastel Labs Inc., is a web tool for gathering client comments on sites and design work. Reviewers open a shared link and pin notes straight onto a live page or file, and the team turns those notes into tasks. The founders were freelance designers and developers who wanted to replace feedback sent through screenshots and email.

What Pastel offers

• Website annotation — comments on live sites, including Webflow and Shopify builds.
• File review — feedback on PDFs, images, videos, wireframes, site maps, social posts and ad creatives.
• Feedback management — labels, assignments, mentions, deadlines, approvals and private team-only comments.
• Technical context — captures browser, device and screenshot details, with a responsive-design tester and in-place copy editing.
• Integrations — pushes comments into Trello, Asana, Jira, ClickUp, Monday or Zapier, and supports webhooks.
• MCP server — lets AI coding agents read and act on comments.

Who it works with

It is built for web agencies, marketing teams, designers, developers and freelancers. Clients and guests can comment without making an account.
