OpenLP

OpenLP is open-source software for showing song lyrics, Bible passages, slides, pictures and video during church services. Its code is public, so churches can install it on as many computers as they want and move to each new release straight away. The developers continue to work on it and welcome feedback, code contributions and donations.

What OpenLP offers

• Cross-platform app — runs on Windows, macOS, Linux and FreeBSD.
• Songs — import from other presentation programs, tag and order verses, manage authors, search, and attach backing tracks.
• Bibles — import Bibles in several formats or fetch passages online, then look up verses by reference or by a phrase.
• Media and slides — playback of most audio and video files through VLC, custom slides for liturgy and notices, and control of PowerPoint and LibreOffice Impress decks.
• Remote control — a built-in web app plus Android and iOS apps to search, go live and change slides from a phone or tablet.
• Stage view — a monitor display in any browser on the local network.
