Mortgage Brain is a UK software company for the mortgage market. It builds web-based tools used by mortgage brokers and advisers, and also sells to lenders and referral partners. What it does

The main product is Mortgage Brain Hub, which gives one login to five modules. Affordability Brain covers over 35 residential lenders and is also used by lenders for calculators on their own sites. CRM Brain manages workflow, tasks and a client portal for fact finds and documents. Submissions Brain gives a single application journey for all lenders. For lenders there are further services, and the company publishes a Lender Service Report on turnaround times and an AI Zone with guidance on using AI safely.

Recent items on its site include a partnership with Plannr in October 2026, LMS Select embedded in CRM Brain, and Paymentshield added to CRM Brain in September. On 23 October 2026 Fintel announced it had bought the remaining equity in Mortgage Brain Holdings for 38.4 million pounds. Chief executive Zahid Bilgrami is to move to lead Fintel's Software and Data division.
