MIPAR

MIPAR is software for detecting and measuring features in scientific images. It replaces slow manual measurement, which varies from person to person, with automated analysis that users can still supervise and check. The company is based in the United States and covers materials science, life science and drone or survey imagery.

Services

• Grain size measurement: automated analysis of copper alloy grains to the ASTM E-112 standard, with distributions and reports.
• Powder and particle analysis: size, roundness and satellite counts for metal powders, from single scans or batches.
• Defect and crack analysis: crack density and size in additive-manufactured parts, including stitched surface images.
• Fibre and precipitate analysis: nanofibre porosity and thickness, and precipitates in nickel-base superalloys.
• Life science imaging: fibrosis in liver tissue, labelled cell counts, stomata identification and virus measurement from electron microscopy.

Who it works with

MIPAR serves researchers and engineers in materials science and life science labs, as well as users working with drone and survey images.
