Marble

Marble builds a decisioning platform for fraud and anti-money-laundering (AML) compliance teams at banks, fintechs and crypto exchanges. Its founders previously ran fraud and compliance operations at the French fintech Shine, and built Marble to remove the manual work that grows with transaction volume. The product lets compliance staff write and update transaction-monitoring rules without code, monitor transactions, users and events in real time, screen customers and counterparties against watchlists, investigate cases from a single view and automate regulatory reporting. It connects to existing systems and data sources through a configurable data model. Marble can be run as a hosted service or deployed on a customer's own infrastructure, and an open-source edition is published on GitHub. The company states that more than 100 banks, fintechs and crypto exchanges in over 25 countries use it and names customers such as Treezor and CoinSwitch among its customer stories. Its site also carries documentation, an API reference, release notes and a library of example rules. The current release shown on the home page is version 1.8.
