Jenzabar

Jenzabar builds software solely for higher education, with an integrated ERP and student information systems sold as Jenzabar One and Jenzabar SONIS. Its pitch is that a college can put most campus departments onto one platform from one supplier, cutting the number of separate systems staff must run.

Products and services

• Jenzabar One: an integrated ERP that brings campus offices onto a single platform.
• Jenzabar SONIS: a student information system for student records and administration.
• Retention software: tools for spotting students at risk and intervening early.
• Cloud services: hosting that moves campus systems into the cloud.
• Department tool suites: sets of tools covering admissions, student affairs and other offices.

Who it works with

Colleges and universities; the company says more than 1,400 campuses use its products and that its student information systems were picked more often than any other over the past ten years. Parker University reports using the retention tools to keep retention above 90%, and Charleston Southern University describes automating a paper-heavy process with the platform.
