HandsOn Connect

HandsOn Connect is volunteer and donor management software built on Salesforce. It tracks people, programmes, training and volunteer opportunities from start to finish and reports on them in real time, drawing on the experience of Points of Light. HandsOn Connect and Get Connected by Galaxy Digital now belong to Better Impact, which says both will stay fully supported without forced migration.

What HandsOn Connect offers

• Volunteer management — volunteers find projects by skill, interest, organisation, date or invitation, and their hours and impact are recorded.
• Donors and donations — management of campaigns, fundraisers, memberships, grants and events with payment handling, using the Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack.
• Multilingual, multi-site set-up — available in six languages including Spanish, French, Dutch and Traditional Chinese, with separate local content per office or affiliate.
• Reporting — cloud dashboards with categories preset for the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
• Services — Salesforce configuration, data migration, integrations, custom development and a virtual administrator service.

Who it works with

Users include volunteer centres, universities and schools, food banks, hospices, mentoring schemes, companies and public agencies. Customers named on its site include Boston Cares, Chicago Cares and Seattle Works, as well as a food bank in Baton Rouge.
