EastCoast Solutions

EastCoast Solutions is a Swedish developer of visitor management software that dates from 1998. Precise Biometrics, an identity technology company in Lund, agreed to buy it in November 2021 and completed the deal later. The product once called EastCoast Visit is now sold as Precise Visit by EastCoast, a cloud service that handles a visit from the invitation through check-in, door access and evacuation.

What EastCoast Solutions does

• Visitor check-in: self-service registration at a kiosk, by QR code or on a phone, with the host alerted automatically.
• Visitor door access: short-term entry using a PIN, a QR code or biometrics.
• Front desk tasks: printing badges, signing documents digitally and logging parcels and deliveries.
• Welcome emails: hosts book visits in Outlook or Google Calendar and the visitor receives a welcome message.
• Occupancy and evacuation: a live list of who is on site and support during fire evacuations.

Precise says more than 800 customers use the service, from small local firms to global enterprises, municipalities and public authorities, across one or several sites.
