DMSi

DMSi, based in the United States, develops Agility, an ERP system shaped around distributors of building materials and industrial goods. It pulls order handling, stock, purchasing, production and accounts into one system.

Services

• Inventory and warehouse management: live stock across branches under one item code, trade units such as board feet and linear feet, cycle counts and mobile warehouse tools.
• Order management: point of sale, order entry, installed sales projects, customer-level pricing rules and a round-the-clock online ordering portal.
• Purchasing: demand forecasting, suggested reorders, central buying for multiple sites and EDI links with suppliers.
• Production: resource scheduling, cost allocation, bills of materials and a configurator that only allows valid parts on non-stock orders.
• Accounting: an integrated general ledger with drill-down financial reports.
