Cloud66

Cloud66 gives development teams the tooling to build, deploy and run applications on any major cloud provider, their own servers or a mix of both. It is pitched as an alternative to a platform-as-a-service, so teams keep their own architecture and avoid lock-in. The company is listed in the United Kingdom and also helps teams moving off Heroku.

What Cloud66 offers

• Deployment: connect a Git repository and a cloud provider, then deploy with zero-downtime, blue/green or canary strategies.
• Build servers and registry: hosted Docker image builds for multiple architectures with an integrated container registry.
• Autoscaling: scales servers and services on metrics such as CPU, memory, queue backlog and Nginx response time.
• Preview environments: automatic deployments for git branches, tags and pull requests, torn down when finished.
• Managed databases: databases on the customer's own servers with off-site backups, replication and monitoring.
• Security and monitoring: firewall rules, WAF, OS patching, Let's Encrypt and custom certificates, plus server monitoring, alerts, logs and metrics.

Who it serves

Development teams that want to deploy to their own choice of infrastructure, from one server to a thousand, with team and permission controls for multiple users.
