Clean Mailbox

Clean Mailbox screens incoming email in the cloud and forwards only clean messages to a company's own mail server. Listed in France, it works with any SMTP setup, whether self-hosted or run by providers such as Google, Microsoft, OVH, Gandi or Infomaniak.

What Clean Mailbox offers

• Anti-virus — cloud signature scanning stops viruses, trojans and ransomware in attachments.
• Anti-spam — a real-time scoring engine with regularly updated rules removes spam and mass mailings.
• Anti-phishing — spots messages imitating known brands through visual fingerprinting and link reputation.
• Content filtering — custom rules to block executables, archives, macros or any chosen file type.
• Sender authentication — policies for SPF, DKIM and DMARC failures to stop spoofing.
• Sender challenge — first-time senders complete a CAPTCHA before their mail is delivered.

Who it works with

The gateway suits organisations running their own or a hosted mail server that want filtering in front of it. Setup means pointing the domain's MX records at the service; blocked mail waits in a dashboard for review.
