Cibecs

Cibecs makes software that protects the data held on staff computers and in cloud services. It was established in 2004 and sells to business customers in several regions, with offices in South Africa and Australia.

What Cibecs offers

• Endpoint Cloud — automatic backup and recovery of end-user data, so lost files can be restored after an incident.
• Cloud to Cloud Backup — protection for Microsoft 365 and other SaaS applications.
• Email Threat Protection — filtering of incoming threats and fraud in one product.
• SendMarc — measures aimed at stopping email impersonation and interception.
• Data governance and compliance — central control that lets IT enforce a backup policy and show compliance through reports.

Who it works with

Business users across North America, Europe, China, the Middle East and Africa, as described in earlier material. The endpoint software runs in Windows, Mac and Linux environments.
