Bunk1

Bunk1 gives summer camps a private channel for keeping families in touch with children while they are away. Camps across the United States and Canada sign up and offer the service to their own parents, who use it through a web browser or an app for iOS and Android.

What Bunk1 offers

• Photo galleries — secure camp galleries with automatic camper tagging, open only to families of current campers, with prints, downloads and items such as mugs and t-shirts for sale.
• Bunk Notes — letters from home, which families can decorate with photos, borders and puzzles; the camp prints them once a day and hands them out.
• Bunk Replies — handwritten letters from campers, scanned or faxed by the camp office and passed to families by email and through the portal using bar codes.
• Admin app — a mobile tool for staff to post photos, videos and daily updates to the whole camp, a group or a single family.
• Camp blog and push notifications — a place for news, session recaps and packing lists, with alerts sent to parents.

Who it works with
