Berrycast

Berrycast is a Canadian tool for recording the screen with a webcam overlay and sending the result as a shareable link. Teams use it for video messages in place of live calls or long written explanations. It runs on Windows and Mac and is positioned as an alternative to Loom.

What Berrycast offers

• Screen and webcam recording — records the display and the presenter together, then produces a link to share.
• Meeting recorder — captures meetings for later review.
• AI notes and summaries — takes notes and condenses transcripts into short summaries.
• Embedding — recordings can be placed inside other work tools so they fit an existing workflow.
• HIPAA support — signs a business associate agreement before any protected health information is recorded.

Who it works with

Berrycast says more than 2,300 teams use it, including firms explaining complex topics to clients and teams that work asynchronously.
