AppliCad

AppliCad is an Australian software company whose main product, Roof Wizard, is used to take off, price and fabricate metal roofs and walls. Roofers, suppliers and installers use it to turn measurements into a 3D model and then into orders and quotes.

What AppliCad offers

• Measurement input — takes dimensions from PDF plans, a site survey or a scaled aerial photo of the roof, plus pitch and eave height.
• 3D roof modelling — builds the full roof in 3D, including features such as dormers and split gables.
• Materials take-off — applies tiles, panels, cladding, flashings, battens, fixings, insulation and fall protection to the model.
• Automatic reports — produces supplier order forms, builder quotes and installer diagrams in Word and Excel.
• Rollformer export — sends a CSV cutting list straight to the rollformer controller, so panel lengths are not keyed in by hand; offcut reuse cuts waste.
• Estimating service and training — an estimating service, the AppliCad Academy online course, and support included with monthly or annual licences.
