Austin venture firm funding Texas technology and tech-enabled services companies from pre-seed to Series B

A seed-stage venture firm backing AI-native enterprise software, cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure startups

WestWave Capital is a seed-stage venture capital firm investing in AI-native enterprise software, cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure companies, run by a team of former entrepreneurs and investors who say they invest in deep-tech founders at the earliest stages, before broad consensus forms around a sector. Its portfolio has included Tugboat Logic, a framework for setting up enterprise security programmes; Accurics, which protects cloud-native infrastructure across hybrid and multi-cloud environments; and Antaris, a platform for designing, simulating, manufacturing and operating satellite missions, which raised a Series A round led by WestWave with participation from Lockheed Martin Ventures and other investors. The firm's site also references Spectro Cloud's rise in valuation, Prezent's acquisition of AI services firms, and Lative's acquisition of Mperativ to build a combined go-to-market planning platform. The firm reports more than 70 portfolio companies and over 15 exits to date.
