Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company is a Finnish pension insurer. It provides statutory earnings related pension cover for work done in Finland, taking care of the pensions of employees and of private entrepreneurs. Its head office is in Salmisaari, Helsinki. How it invests

Varma says it invests the assets collected as pension contributions profitably and securely for present and future pensions, and calls itself a responsible and solvent investor. It states that it mainly invests in fixed income, equities and real estate, and in hedge funds. As a property investor it focuses on high quality business premises in growth centres. It also offers corporate financing to its customers.
