TF Capital (Shanghai)

TF Capital is a Chinese investment firm that describes itself as an early investor in biotechnology companies, working with founders from the earliest stages of a company's development. It provides capital alongside what it calls value-chain support, drawing on relationships across the biopharmaceutical industry, including listed companies, clinical experts and other investment funds. The firm reports managing a substantial amount of assets, and says its portfolio has generated a large sum in upfront licence-out payments from a number of deals across several companies over five consecutive years with multinational pharmaceutical partners. It also says more than 20 of its portfolio companies have completed initial public offerings, with a further 15 or more in IPO filing.
