A New Zealand venture capital firm backing local founders since 2003

Icehouse Ventures is a venture capital firm that invests in New Zealand-founded companies with global ambitions, backing them from pre-seed through to pre-IPO stages. Since 2003 it says it has invested across more than 390 companies, continuing to invest as they scale and compete on the global stage. Its Growth Fund III is currently open to raise further capital, giving investors access to Kiwi-founded companies at every stage. It also runs a first-of-its-kind programme offering education and support to entrepreneurial high school students. A quoted client, the co-founder and chief executive of Crimson Education, credits the firm's consistent support for the company's journey from three founders working in a dormitory to a team of more than 950 people across 26 countries.
