SmokeD

SmokeD is a software with artificial intelligence which detects smoke or flames in pictures fed from digital cameras and is used for fire prevention monitoring of large areas. The system interacts with local communities informing them about the occurrence of a wildfire. When the system detects smoke or flames then notifies the Fire Team, Forest Services and local residents. The dispatcher job is to verify the notification rather than search for images of smoke.
