Espro

Espro is an estimating program for electrical contractors, sold by Spearhead in Australia. It holds parts, pricing and install times in one place so estimators can build a job quote section by section. It comes in a Basic and an Enterprise edition.

What Espro offers

• Price book and parts database — stores equipment and materials, and imports supplier price files to update them.
• Assemblies — groups items that belong together, so nothing is forgotten in a quote.
• Pre-built electrical database — ships with labour install times, with thousands of items and assemblies included.
• Estimate building — splits estimates into sections, applies markups or margins and archives finished jobs.
• Schedule of unit rates — creates a rate schedule from an estimate and allocates hours across labour types.

Who it works with

It suits contracting businesses that price electrical work. The Basic edition is described as entry level for smaller projects, while Enterprise adds deeper stage breakdowns and a report builder.
