A checkout can pass every unit test and still lose orders to a courier address format, a payment taken on the doorstep, or a customer who changes their mind while the rider is en route. Rutba.pk is how those problems get found first: a real retail business with real inventory, real deliveries and real customers, running entirely on the Rutba commerce modules. Anything that breaks in the shop gets fixed in the platform, and improvements made for the shop ship to every deployment.

The Catalogue

The catalogue covers three-piece unstitched lawn suits across seasonal collections, stitched and ready-to-wear ensembles and wash-and-wear fabrics, fancy and designer-inspired occasion pieces for weddings, Eid and formal events, everyday and occasion abayas, handbags and accessories, and beauty and fragrance including body sprays and mists.

Order State Machine

Every order moves through a state-machine chokepoint so a stage cannot be skipped by accident:

• Checkout (express for repeat buyers or full address capture for new ones).
• Order processing through verification, picking, packing and label printing against live stock.
• Rider assignment via a delivery offer.
• Delivery with cash collected and reconciled through payment verification.

Technical Architecture

Technically it is the rutba-web application from the Rutba ERP monorepo: a server-side-rendered Next.js 16 storefront styled with Tailwind CSS, with Rutba ERP as the back office, a shared Strapi 5 API with descriptor-driven role scope, Rutba Media FileServer serving images.rutba.pk, and Rutba MTA relaying order confirmations and campaigns through a single suppression gate. Payment is cash on delivery with verification and reconciliation workflows.
