Infodim L.P.

Infodim L.P. is a Greek company that builds geographic information system (GIS) applications and manages spatial data. It was set up in 1991 as the first Greek firm devoted only to GIS work, and it serves public agencies, the wider public sector and private clients.

What Infodim L.P. offers

• GIS applications — custom desktop and web systems built around each client's mapping needs.
• Cartography — map production and online base maps, delivered with partner organisations.
• Spatial metadata — work to the INSPIRE directive and ISO metadata standards, using open-source software.
• Information system management — design, operation and maintenance of larger information systems that track spatial and descriptive data.
• E-government and geoinformatics software — including applications for civil protection and fire protection.

Who it works with

Clients are mostly municipalities and other public agencies. Past applications cover property tax management for almost all Greek municipalities, fleet management, precision agriculture, urban planning, cadastral work, environmental monitoring, highways and forest fire protection.
