A group comprising five professionals with varied experience in the area of capital markets, fund raising, business consulting, investor communications and public communications, got together, to start Fortuna PR in 2010 The idea was to build a communications consulting firm that brings tangibility, accountability and measurement in terms of output to enable Businesses to grow

The competitive PR landscape in 2010 was dominated by players having early head start, scale and foreign partners or owners Being a bootstrapped company, we focused on two key areas for establishing our presence One, our ability to offer a holistic perspective, built upon domain knowledge, understanding of the environment and insights on media's comprehension on the issues This is demonstrated in terms of our ability to generate content, establish connects and comprehend the relevant context for exploring opportunities And two, being structured as a law firm, the clients got proper attention - as each partner managed (and continues to till this day) a set of client relationships - thereby offering a much more personalised service and assurance of being available on call

We dedicate our efforts to Lady Fortuna - the fickle goddess of Luck Fortuna can be very generous to begin with but ultimately stays with only the ones who continue to put it the hard work The next ten years went into building a communications consulting firm, which continues to place high weightage on delivering value and realising business objectives of its clients This also meant, our client relationships lasted longer, led to higher referral business and also empowered us diversify our offerings - from public relations to investor relations to investor collaterals to advocacy and issue management
