Hie HQ

Hie HQ is a product design and engineering studio that works with startups and other businesses on apps and digital products. It describes itself as a product partner rather than a supplier of code alone.

Services

• Mobile app development: custom apps for startups, built to grow with the business.
• Co-building early-stage products: roadmap, architecture and engineering worked through with the founders.
• Digital products for offline businesses: the studio studies the business, plans a roadmap and builds tools for staff, vendors and customers.
• Product modernisation: reworking outdated products with fresh guidance, technology and design.
• Design and quality assurance: the team says most design effort goes into the experience, with the rest on look and feel.

Customers and markets

Startups are the main focus, with flexible engagements that include payment in cash or equity. Client comments mention app design and development, prototype front-end work and dependable communication about progress.
