BrewingStack

BrewingStack is a small studio that now makes its own consumer apps and desktop software, aimed at everyday problems that bigger companies overlook. It is run by two people with backgrounds in product design, engineering and storytelling, and earlier material described it as a UI and UX design studio in Toronto.

What BrewingStack offers

• TrueSpend — a personal finance app that tracks spending on Amazon.
• Naan of the Fluff — a recipe tool that weaves quantities into each cooking step.
• Quillchemy — a desktop writing app for fantasy authors, combining worldbuilding with drafting.
• Product design — its earlier work covered end-to-end interface and UX design and testing, mostly for consumer software.

Who it works with

Its apps are built for specific groups such as writers, careful spenders and creators. The studio stresses privacy, simple feature sets and no dark patterns.
