At a5, we aim to do great work – for our clients and for the environment In addition to making a5 a sustainable business, we actively work with clients who want to learn how to be good for business and good for the environment

Since 2007, we have co-produced (with Seven Generations Ahead) GreenTown: The Future of Community, which connects the public sector with the private sector to develop healthy, sustainable communities We also work with planners, architects, landscape architects, governmental agencies and non-profits to develop better environmental practices

In the words of Lou Reed: "Well, Americans don't care for much of anything, land and water the least" While we think the environmental paradigm should be positive, not punitive, awareness, knowledge and understanding is needed to protect people and planet For our part, we work toward "inspiration, aspiration and perspiration" to create healthy, sustainable communities
