About Inform Direct

Inform Direct is an online service that helps UK companies complete and file their confirmation statement. Every UK company must file one each year, and the statement replaced the annual return from 30 June 2016.

What Inform Direct does

  • Confirmation statement wizard: retrieves the latest position from Companies House and presents it clearly.
  • Simple confirmation: in most cases the user only checks the details shown, and the statement is compiled and sent online.
  • Record updates: directors, shareholders and persons with significant control can be changed along the way.
  • Automatic registers: statutory registers such as the register of members update on their own.
  • Built-in checks: help the user get the form right first time.
  • Delivery notices: the user is told when the filing is sent and when it is accepted.
