Autonomic

Autonomic develops an open, cloud-based platform for urban transport. Its Transportation Mobility Cloud is meant to join up the different parts of a city's mobility system so that travel becomes safer, more efficient and more sustainable. The company describes the platform as flexible and secure, and as a base on which other developers can build their own transport services.

• Connected systems — links between connected vehicles, mass transit, pedestrians, city infrastructure and service providers.
• Application support — a base for uses such as routing self-driving cars.
• Fleet and journey tools — support for managing large fleets and helping residents plan transit trips.
