Riyadh based electric vehicle company whose EXOBOT sedan and SUV pair a 112 kWh battery with 850 hp.
Ceer is a Saudi Arabian electric vehicle company that presents its first vehicles under the name EXOBOT, with the tagline that they were born in Saudi Arabia. The site says Ceer wants to set a new standard for mobility in the region. The footer of the site shows the logos of PIF and Foxconn, although the pages do not explain what role either organisation plays.
Ceer gives Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as its headquarters in the contact section of its site. The website offers an Arabic version for Saudi Arabia and an English version for other regions, and a configurator lets individual buyers build a vehicle for the Saudi market. The pages do not state where the cars are built, and they do not say when the company was founded.
The range is made up of two battery-electric models, the EXOBOT Sedan, labelled .001, and the EXOBOT SUV, labelled .002. Both use a 112 kWh battery on an 800 volt architecture, produce 850 hp and are quoted at 10 to 80 percent charging in 30 minutes. The sedan is quoted at 670 km of range and the SUV at 560 km, both on the NEDC cycle.
The cars use steer-by-wire with a steering yoke, rear-wheel steering, Matrix LED headlights, a 48 inch curved display called Digital Horizon, and seats developed with SABELT. The vehicle warranty runs six years or 200,000 km and the battery warranty eight years.
