Open Campground

Open Campground started as an open source reservation system for small campgrounds and RV parks. It was written in Ruby using the Rails framework. The current website presents it as a wider campground and RV park management platform.

What Open Campground offers

• Reservation management — tracking of who holds a booking and which sites are available.
• Direct online bookings — reservations taken through the park's website.
• Integrated payments — payment processing, with the option to pass card fees to guests.
• Pricing engine — rates adjusted to demand and season.
• Reports and dashboards — occupancy and revenue insight across properties.
• Digital signatures and staff tools — waivers, agreements, schedules and records.
