Jango

Not yet independently verified. The launch date rests on the maker’s own Product Hunt post and the 1.1 release notes of 25 September 2026; version 1.0.0 was published a day earlier and a preview on 23 September. The terms name no company behind the product, only “Jango”. No independent report of the product was found. We will update this when it can be confirmed, and remove this note.

Jango is a macOS application for testing the parts of an app that need several people at once, built by a solo founder and launched on Product Hunt on 25 September 2026 alongside its 1.1 release, which added paid plans; version 1.0.0 had been published a day earlier. A developer adds a development address and separate test accounts, then gives each AI participant a role and a goal — a buyer placing a test order, a seller listing an item, a teammate updating a task, members of a chat — and each one acts through its own isolated browser while the developer watches, directs them or joins in. Jango keeps what it learns about the app between runs: the identities and their encrypted login state, hints about the app’s controls backed by actions that worked, and evidence from each run, so the same cast can be brought back after a change. It can be driven from the app, from a command line or by a coding assistant over MCP. Browsers run on the developer’s Mac (Apple silicon or Intel), with Node.js and Chromium bundled; saved apps and progress are stored in the user’s account. Prices on its own page: Free at $0 with three participants per session, one project and the customer’s own AI key; Pro at $9 a month, a founding price held for as long as the subscription runs, with 12 participants, unlimited projects and saved checkpoints; Enterprise on request. Managed AI credit is optional and charged at the provider’s cost plus 20 per cent on Free or 10 per cent on Pro. Its terms require permission to test each app and say real purchases and financial transactions are not supported; they name no company behind the product. The name is shared with unrelated products, so it is filed under its own domain.
