Cloud computers that an AI agent operates, created and driven from code, with live handoff to a person for sign-ins; invite-only beta from Pine AI, no price published.
Not yet independently verified. The launch date rests on the maker's own Product Hunt listing of 9 October 2026. Every detail comes from the maker's own site, which names Pine AI as the operator and whose legal pages name a Delaware corporation; no office address or city is stated, and no price is published while the beta is invite-only. The speed and cost comparisons on the site are the maker's own preliminary tests. No independent report was found. We will update this when it can be confirmed, and remove this note.
Pine Computer is a cloud computer designed to be operated by AI agents. Pine AI launched it on Product Hunt on 9 October 2026 and describes it as a computer with the intelligence to use it built in. Access is by invitation while it is in beta.
Developers create computers and sessions through code, choosing options such as location, ephemeral mode and browser sessions, then give an agent a task in plain language. Pine says the agent reads what each item on screen is and what it can do rather than working only from pixels, and that it is told about changes as they happen instead of polling the screen. An agent can also work across many virtual screens that are rendered in memory and shown only when needed.
A person can take over a session, for example to sign in, and hand it back. Pine's trust page says only one driver at a time can control a computer: the agent, the customer's code or a person. Secrets reach a run as a locked file rather than in the model's prompt, and a blind session lets a person type passwords or codes that the agent cannot see.
The product is aimed at developers building agents that must use sites with no API. The company lists 26 use cases and highlights renewing permits, researching markets, filling PDF forms, comparing and buying products, updating marketplace listings and testing web apps. Pine says its preliminary tests showed agents running two to five times faster than on ordinary computers at one twenty-fifth of the model cost, counting model API cost only. These are the company's own figures and results vary by task.
