Tractian is an Atlanta-headquartered industrial company that pairs machine-health sensors with analytics software to diagnose faults, plan maintenance and prevent downtime in asset-heavy factories and facilities.
Tractian is an industrial technology company that combines its own sensor hardware with diagnostic software for machine health and maintenance. It describes itself as a physical AI platform for asset-heavy industries. Its headquarters are at 756 W Peachtree St NW in Atlanta, Georgia, and the company also has offices in Monterrey, Sao Paulo and Poland. In October 2026 it announced a Series D round of 130 million US dollars at a valuation of 1.4 billion dollars.
The company fits sensors to critical machines to capture vibration, ultrasound and other signals, then uses software to turn those readings into a diagnosis of the machine's condition and a recommended action. Its offer is organised in three groups. Condition monitoring covers vibration sensors and analysis, failure detection, reliability and root cause analysis, and downtime prevention and reporting. A maintenance management group covers work orders, parts inventory, preventive maintenance and a maintenance app, and can enrich an existing maintenance management system. Electrical monitoring covers current and voltage monitoring, critical asset monitoring, utilities and process analytics, and custom dashboards. Integrations named on its site include Oracle NetSuite, SAP, Power BI and Maximo.
Tractian says more than 2,000 critical facilities worldwide use its products and names Eli Lilly, McKesson, Whirlpool, Cummins and Embraer among them. The industries it lists include manufacturing, food and beverage, automotive, data centres, oil and gas, mining and metals, chemicals, and energy and water. Its site shows ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and SOC attestations. The company says it has more than 700 employees. The Series D was led by Sapphire Ventures and co-led by M&G's Catalyst, with a number of existing and new investors taking part.
