ToolSense

ToolSense began as an IoT start-up tracking hand-operated power tools on job sites. Its current product is a facility management platform that keeps every machine, robot and vehicle in one asset record, fed by live data from connected devices of many brands.

What ToolSense offers

• Asset register — one list of equipment in place of spreadsheets and separate brand portals.
• Location and utilisation tracking — shows where machines are and whether they are working or sitting idle.
• Fault reporting — a QR code on a machine opens a report with a photo, with no app needed.
• AI assistants — one guides operatives through repairs, another points out idle equipment that could be redeployed.
• Work orders — tickets reach technicians and come back as signed reports.

Who it works with

Facility management companies and equipment fleet owners. The platform serves finance, procurement, operations, service, health and safety, and management teams.
